But here’s my story.
How'd we get here?
It was about three really big leaps.
When I think about my career and my life, each of my three sons represents a major chapter.
When my oldest son was just a toddler, I took a leap of faith, returning to school as a single mother to pursue a career in public relations. I thought at the time I’d be a professional fundraiser; I fell into tech and I fell in love.
When my second son was still an infant, I took a leap of opportunity, joining a Series A tech startup for a wild (but short) ride. I learned so much. But then, I was laid off.
Pregnant with my third son, I decided it was time to take a leap of fate: I chose to launch amPR inc. and fulfil a longtime dream of becoming an entrepreneur by launching my public relations agency to provide the level of excellence I always wanted to see from a full service marketing agency.
As both an entrepreneur and a mother, I believe that transparency and a little humility go a long way – especially with a side of good humour and hard work. My approach to working with clients is just like my approach to raising my kids: no bullshit and a touch of tough love. I won’t tell you what you want to hear; I promise to tell you what you need to hear.
Today, I’m honoured to work with clients across industries and geographies to create powerful content, build stronger relationships, and grow their businesses through authenticity and a good, old fashioned story.
